Saturday morning I had breakfast with my visiting teachers and one other sister they visit. We sat and chatted for a bit while eating muffins and fruit. Yum! Then they gave us the message for the month and we had a great discussion with that. An hour and a half later I came home and Tom, Cole and I went looking for a new vehicle. After test driving many, I think we've decided on a Honda CR-V. It has the room we need and it gets pretty good gas mileage. Now we just need to shop around. It will be very nice once we have a second vehicle again. It really stinks being stranded at home all day. Not that I go out all that often any ways, but it's nice when I do want to that I can. After looking at vehicles we had a Hawaiian pool party at our apartment complex. It was a little rainy, but it still turned out ok. They had lots of food and drinks. There was also a live band. We didn't stay for the whole thing because I dropped a fresh peach slice on my white shorts and wanted to try and treat it before it stained, which luckily it didn't! Saturday night we rented The Simpson's movie, Tom's pick of course, and P.S. I Love you. We just relaxed the rest of the night.
Sunday we had, not to scare our mothers, the annual hurricane preparedness lesson in Sunday school. It was very good since we had absolutely no idea, except for the basic preparedness, on what to do. Hurricane season started June 1st. It really scares me coming from Utah where we don't see things like this. They say we are expecting a class 3 hurricane this season. Which means evacuation! From what everyone is saying they give you plenty of notice. I guess it sounds worse than it is. We are getting prepared, and pretty much have everything we already need, we just need to get organized. We are right on it! No worries! We will be just fine. Any way, the rest of our Sunday was nice and relaxing. But I really hate when the weekends are over:(

Girls Night
Last night I enjoyed a girls night out with some of the other girls from the ward. It was fun! There were ten of us. We played Cranium, which I found out I'm not very good at, but I gave it my best. We did a lot of laughing and of course eating. You always have to have eating! At the end of the night it was good to get back to my wonderful husband and sleeping baby.

Birthday wishes
Today is my mother-n-laws birthday. So we would like to wish her a happy birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUSAN!!!
We Love you!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUSAN!!!
We Love you!
I had a Dr. appointment today, where I waited for two hours in the waiting room for a quick 10-15 min. check up. So irritating!! I can understand it if she had a delivery or something, but no, they were just running behind. I think they double book each time slot because there was another girl there who was waiting for the same Dr. who had the same appointment time as me. Ahhh!! You can't tell I'm a little frustrated can you!? Poor Cole sat through the whole thing with me. He was such a good boy! Any way, they had to draw more blood to check me for chicken pox, again, because the last test came back positive that I've had chicken pox and that I have them now. I have never had chicken pox and I know for a fact I don't have them now. If the test comes back positive again my Dr. is going to send me to a specialist to see what is going on. So fun! But all in all everything is looking and sounding great. We're more than half way there!
In Loving Memory! (tear)
Yesterday, June 24th, we sold our beetle. I didn't think it would be so hard, but it was quite sad. It is a good thing though. There is no way we could have fit another baby in the back seat. There was barely room for one! Now we are down to Tom's truck. Isn't that just fun getting in and out of all big and pregnant! We'll start looking this weekend for a family vehicle. It will actually be nice having room for my knees!

Weekend up date
This last Friday, June 20th, we went to a B-B-Q with four couples from the ward. We had a good time getting to know them. We all have a lot in common, from husbands who are engineers, to having babies in the NICU, so we got along really well. We ate and swam and had a great time.
On Saturday we ran errands all day, but I enjoy being able to do just that after working every Saturday for 7 & 1/2 years of our marriage. I love the weekends now! We did go out to dinner that night, and I'm happy to say we've found our favorite Italian restaurant! It has great authentic food, and the owner is very friendly. We've been there twice and she remembered us from the first time. Probably because we have an adorable baby. Who could forget him!

Dr. Visit
Cole had his 12 month check up today. We both really like his new Dr.. He was very friendly and personable. He made Cole feel quite comfortable. I think he'll work out great! Cole is doing well. He weighs 19 lbs. 11 oz. Almost time for that front facing car seat. Yeah! No more lugging him around in his baby seat! He's right where he should be for his age. He sure has come along way.

Our big boy.
Today Cole, with a little help from mom, fed himself Mac-n-Cheese with a spoon! Such a little thing, but it sure made me excited. He has also learned how to turn the light switch on and off. He is just getting so big! Just a little FYI.

The Callings!
Sunday the 8th Tom and I were called to be ward missionaries. We didn't expect that one. It should be good for us. Now if we only knew what we were doing!
Picnic Fun!
Saturday, June 7th, We went to a picnic that was put on by the company Tom works for. There was a lot of good, free, B-B-Q and drinks. They had activities for the kids, drawings, snow cones and little gifts for all the kids at the door. That's where the pin wheel came from. I was able to meet some of the people Tom works with. It was a hot but fun afternoon.
Birthday Movies!
Wake up sleepy head!
Look at all the fun decorations!
"I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not?!"
"Am I going to get in trouble if I eat this?"
"I think this is going to be good!"
"Now this is some good cake!"

Happy Birthday Cole
Today is Coles first birthday! He is getting so big. I can not believe how fast the time went. It has been so much fun to watch as he's gone though all his new stages and how much he has learned. I'm excited to see what is next. He has been such a blessing and a joy in our home. He can always put a smile on our face. I can't imagine my life with out him. We Love You Cole!
